International Women's Day, 2023

In Malwanchal University, we celebrated International Women’s Day. Six women from teaching and non teaching staff were awarded with the honour of ‘Woman of the Year’. An inter-institutions group dance competition was organised with women empowerment theme. The girls from the Department of Para Medical bagged the first prize. I highlighted the discrimination against women and pleaded to the boys to take a pledge to respect women in their whole lives.

As we all know international women's day is celebrated on 8th march.

First celebrated in New York, 1909. This is a day to honor, appreciate & express our gratitude towards women all across the globe.

So, Malwanchal University organized an event on 3rd to 6 march'23 for celebrating women's day.

On this occasion a series of events were organized which included a dance performance on ganesh vandana, motivational speeches & an intra college dance competition to showcase the talent of students.

An active participation was seen among the students of Malwanchal university. Extremely high energy & captivating performances were presented by students of medical, dental, para medical, nursing & pharmacy. Some special performances on " Women Empowerment " theme added up to the event.

The event was Kickstarted by honouring & welcoming Respected Dr. N. K. Tripathi (vice chancellor), Dr. M. Christopher sir (registrar), Dr. Sanjeev Narang sir (pro chancellor) & all the HOI's, followed by saraswati vandana & lamp lighting ceremony.

"WOMAN OF THE YEAR" Award was presented in the memory of Late Munni Devi Bhadoria.

Six women from teaching & non - teaching staff were awarded with the honor of " Women of the year".

Girls from the index department of paramedical and Physiotherapy bagged the 1st prize by presenting the story of audacious "Arunima". They were awarded for the best performance by Dean Dr. G. S. Patel & R. C. Yadav.

Several motivating speeches were also delivered by dignitaries.

Lastly, the event was concluded by presenting certificates of participation to all the participants for their phenomenal performances.


Index Nursing College celebrated International Women’s day

04th March, 2023

Index Nursing College, a constituent unit of Malwanchal University, Indore had celebrated international women’s day along with birthday celebration of our beloved chairman Shri. Suresh Singh Bhadauria on 4th March 2023 under the guidance Of Dr. (Prof.) Smriti G Solomon, Principal, Index Nursing College. The theme of this year was “DigitALL: innovation and technology for gender equality”. The chief guest was Mrs. Shilpi Shah, Senior Vice President, Value Labs, Indore. In her motivational speech she depicted that “is it needed to celebrate women’s day as all women are empowered and is holding dignified position in all the sectors of the society. Our students performed a wonderful dance performance on women empowerment which was followed by cake cutting of womens day and index group chairman Shri. Suresh Singh Bhadauria birthday. The program was presided by Dr. Reena Thakur , Professor and HOD, Dept. of Medical Surgical Nursing and the organizing secretary was Prof. Berlin Sara Thampy, Professor & HOD, Dept. of Pediatric Nursing.
