इंडेक्स डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ फिजियोथैरेपी एंड पैरामेडिकल साइंसेस द्वारा पिलेट्स पर दो दिवसीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। 31 अक्टूबर और 1 नवंबर को मालवांचल यूनिवर्सिटी के इंडेक्स मेडिकल कॉलेज ऑडिटोरियम में मलेशिया की अंतरराष्ट्रीय पिलेट्स ट्रेनर एलन टैन फिजियोथैरेपी छात्रों को एडवांस फिजियोथैरेपी पिलेट्स की ट्रेनिंग और लाभ के बारे में जानकारी देगी।

प्राचार्या डॉ.रेशमा खुराना ने बताया कि मप्र में पहली बार दो दिवसीय बेसिक टू एडवांस मेट पिलेट्स अंतरराष्ट्रीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन 31 अक्टूबर से 1 नवंबर तक किया जा रहा है। इसमें स्पाइन और स्पोर्ट्स इंज्यूरी से जुड़ी हर समस्या में पिलेट्स की ट्रीटमेंट के बारे में जानकारी अंतरराष्ट्रीय और सेलिब्रिटी ट्रेनर एलन टैन द्वारा दी जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि कमर दर्द और स्पोर्ट्स इंज्यूरी की परेशानी आज के समय में आम हो गई है। कई बार मांसपेशियों में खिंचाव की समस्या से भी जूझना पड़ता है। ऐसे समय में पिलेट्स एक्सरसाइज सबसे ज्यादा मददगार होती है। पिलेट्स फंक्शनल फिटनेस पर काम करता है जिसमें वह आपके कोर को बनाने और सांस पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने के लिए आपको प्रशिक्षित करता है।

इंडेक्स डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ फिजियोथैरेपी एंड पैरामेडिकल साइंसेस द्वारा पिलेट्स पर दो दिवसीय अंतरराष्ट्रीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। मालवांचल यूनिवर्सिटी के इंडेक्स मेडिकल कॉलेज ऑडिटोरियम में मलेशिया की अंतरराष्ट्रीय पिलेट्स ट्रेनर एलन टैन फिजियोथैरेपी छात्रों को एडवांस फिजियोथैरेपी पिलेट्स की ट्रेनिंग और लाभ के बारे में जानकारी दी गई।मप्र में पहली बार दो दिवसीय बेसिक टू एडवांस मेट पिलेट्स अंतरराष्ट्रीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यशाला के शुभारंभ अवसर पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय पिलेट्स ट्रेनर एलन टैन ,इंडेक्स समूह के चेयरमैन सुरेशसिंह भदौरिया, इंडेक्स मेडिकल कॅालेज के डीन डॅा.जीएस पटेल, इंडेक्स डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ फिजियोथैरेपी एंड पैरामेडिकल साइंसेस की प्राचार्या डॅा.रेशमा खुराना ने दीप प्रज्जवलन किया। दो दिवसीय कार्यशाला के समापन अवसर पर मालवांचल यूनिवर्सिटी के रजिस्ट्रार डॅा.लोकेश्वर सिंह जोधाणा द्वारा एलन टैन को स्मृति चिन्ह प्रदान किया गया।

इस अवसर पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय पिलेट्स ट्रेनर एलन टैन ने फिजियोथैरेपी के छात्रों को अंतरराष्ट्रीय कार्यशाला में पिलेट्स की जैक नाइफ,हॅाफ रोल बेक,सिग्नेचर आफ पिलेट्स जैसी अलग-अलग एक्सरसाइज के बारे में जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि पिलेट्स एक समग्र फिटनेस पद्धति है जो मुख्य ताकत, लचीलेपन और शरीर की जागरूकता पर ध्यान केंद्रित करती है। इसका उपयोग केवल स्पोटर्स एंज्युरी और फिटनेस के लिए ही नहीं बल्कि मरीजों के इलाज में भी कारगर साबित होता है। उन्होंने बताया कि आमतौर पर कमर दर्द से से लेकर मसल्स की कई बीमारी आज हर उम्र के मरीजों में आम बात हो गई। योग और पिलेट्स के जरिए अब ऐसे मरीजों के इलाज में काफी मदद मिल रही है। प्राचार्या डॉ.रेशमा खुराना ने बताया कि कार्यशाला में मुख्य तौर पर इसमें स्पाइन और स्पोर्ट्स इंज्यूरी से जुड़ी हर समस्या में पिलेट्स की ट्रीटमेंट के बारे में जानकारी अंतरराष्ट्रीय और सेलिब्रिटी ट्रेनर एलन टैन द्वारा छात्रों को दी गई। । उन्होंने बताया कि कमर दर्द और स्पोर्ट्स इंज्यूरी की परेशानी आज के समय में आम हो गई है। कई बार मांसपेशियों में खिंचाव की समस्या से भी जूझना पड़ता है। ऐसे समय में पिलेट्स एक्सरसाइज सबसे ज्यादा मददगार होती है। संचालन डॅा.वैशाली पटेल ने किया। आभार डॅा. शिवानी शर्मा ने माना।

Orientation Ceremony

The orientation ceremony for the 1st-year BDS students commenced on October 5, 2023, at the Index Institute of Dental Sciences, marking the initiation of their academic journey.

The event unfolded with a heartfelt welcome extended to both the students and their parents, who embarked on this exciting academic adventure together.

The ceremony was graced by the well wishes of Chairman of Index group Mr. Suresh Singh Bhadoriyaand Vice Chairman Mr. Mayankraj Singh Bhadoriya and esteemed presence of notable dignitaries, including the respected Dean, Dr. Satish Karandikar; Vice Dean, Dr. Rolly Agarwal; Vice Dean of Index Medical College, Dr. Prem Niyati; and the revered faculty members of the Malwanchal University and the Institution.

To symbolize the enlightenment and knowledge that awaited the students, a ceremonial lamp was lit, casting a warm glow over the proceedings.

The program proceeded with a profoundly inspiring address by Dr. Satish Karandikar sir, the Dean of IIDS. He shared his vision for the students' future, emphasizing the paramount importance of dedication, hard work, and unwavering ethics in the field of dentistry that served as a wellspring of motivation and direction for the incoming students.

Dr. Rolly Agarwal, Vice Dean of IIDS, presented the institution's guidelines and its overarching vision to the students and their parents. The comprehensive presentation outlined the institution's core values and expectations, offering students a clear roadmap for their academic journey ahead.

The event also provided an opportunity for students to get acquainted with the faculty members, including their 1st-year subject teachers, who would play pivotal roles in shaping their academic growth.

Safety and well-being were paramount concerns, as the Anti-Ragging Committee members and Hostel Incharge personnel were introduced. This introduction reassured both students and parents of the institution's unwavering commitment to providing a secure and inclusive environment.

Dr. Suparna Ganguly, Head of the Department of Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics at IIDS, delivered an insightful health talk on Stress Management. This valuable session equipped students with tools to build confidence, effectively handle academic stress, and maintain their physical and mental well-being throughout their tenure at the institution.

The program culminated with a symbolic gesture, as students pledged their commitment by signing an undertaking form. This underscored the significance of ethical conduct and mutual respect within the student community.

In a poignant moment of unity and belonging, the ceremony concluded with the rendition of the national anthem, reinforcing the students' allegiance to both their institution and their nation. The orientation ceremony successfully laid the foundation for the academic journey of the 1st-year BDS students at IIDS, leaving them inspired and well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
