International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2022 at Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, Malwanchal University, Indore. Theme for yoga Day is
“Yoga For Humanity”.
Shri Suresh Singh ji Bhadoriya. Chairman,Index Goup of Institutions was the Guest of Honour, Shri N.K.Tripathi, VC, Malwanchal University,Dr.Ram Ghulam Razdan,Pro Vice Chancellor,MU, Shri M.Christofer, Registrar,Malwanchal University, Shri R.S.Ranawat, Director, Planning & Administration ,Index Medical College,Dr.G.S.Patrel,Dean,Index Medical College,Dr.S.G.Soloman,Principal, Index Nursing College were also present as guest.
As per our culture, first of all our honorable guests lightened the lamp followed by Saraswati Pujan and students of BPT sing Saraswati Vandana to begin the programme.
Floral welcome of Shri Suresh Singh Ji Bhadoriya, Chairman, Index Group of Institutess was done by l Dr. Reshma Khurana, Principal,Index Department Of Physiotherapy & Paramedical Sciences.and the faculty members of IDOPT welcome the guest.
Than, Dr. Reshma Khurana, Principal, IDOPT delivered her speech welcoming all the guest in the programme. She expressed her gratitude towards all the dignitaries for attending the programme. She highlighted the special yoga which perform by the students and importance of Yoga in everyone's life. BPT,BMLT & nursing students together perfom the yoga.
BPT Studentsthan performed a unique Yoga Dance, a combination (fusion) of dance & yoga. “Dance Inspired By Yoga” the performers are-

Program started with 12 steps of Suryanamaskar and Sukhasana- inhale and exale of breath with OM sound.

Last but not the least was the turn of "Special Yoga". As the name suggest itself, this one was the perfect display of skills of Yoga in a very innovative way by the students.

Our chief guest congratulated all the students & staff for a nice display of Yoga in very different way. He also highlighted the importance of Yoga in everyone's life for the sake of good health. It was a very motivational speech.
On behalf of Index Department Of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences Dr. Vaishali Patel expressed vote of thanks towards all the distinguished guest for their valuable presence on the Yoga Day.
Dr. Payal Jain anchored the programme. Dr. Shivi Trivedi, Dr.Vidhi Tiwari, Dr.Vaishali Patel, Dr. Arpita Mishra, Dr. Ruchi Saxena, Ms. Shivani Suryavanshi, Mr. Madhusudan Patidar were the key persons for conducting the event smoothly.
The whole event was prepared under the motivational guidance & instructions of Respected Dr.Reshma Khurana ma'am. Principal Index Department of Physiotherapy & Paramedical Sciences.
All the students followed and displayed their skills in a very disciplined way to make the event a meaningful one.
