Women’s Day Celebration

“Gender Equality For Sustained Tomorrow”

This year, for International Women’s Day on 8 March 2022 the United Nations recognizes the contribution of women and girls who are leading the way to build a sustainable future for all. Index Department Of Physiotherapy And Paramedical Sciences, Malwanchal University celebrated the International Women’s Day on 08/03/2022. Dr. Charvi Katikay, Physiotherapist at Singapore Hospital, was the chief guest. Dr.Charvi shared her view that men and women are equal and also spoked about women empowerment.

Dr.Reshma Khurana, Principal, IDOPT expressed her valuable thoughts that how women bear all the troubles and pain with a smile but never complain and also about equality of women and men. Students of BPT, BMLT, DMLT and Interns performed group dance, solo dance, songs.

Intern Neha Mulchandani summarise her speech by a story of new born baby girl that how she fight to survive in the world.

Prabnoor Kaur Saluja presented a power point presentation on achievement of women in their fields.

All the faculty and staff of IDOPT Dr.Shobhit Tiwari, Dr.Jayshree Kashyap, Dr.Shivi Trivedi , Dr. Vidhi Tiwari, Dr.Payal Jain, Dr. Vaishali Patel, Mr.Shyam Singh Panwar were present on the occasion.

Whole programme was organised under the guidance of Dr.Reshma Khurana, Principal, IDOPT.


Back Ache Camp at Dhulet Village

05th February, 2022

“The first step toward change is awareness, the second step is acceptance”

A free health camp was organized at Dhulet Village by Index department Of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences on 5th Feb 2022. As many as people from village were attended & benefited from the health camp. The health check up program started at 10A.M. supervised by our faculty Dr Saurabh lal & Dr. Vidhi Tiwari.

The objective of conducting the Back Ache Camp was to create awareness about back issues among the people and provide general health care services and counseling them on the basis of their condition

In camp we have done thorough back assessment, and given exercise pamphlet for home regime and basic diet plan for general health of the back. Majority of the people who attended the camp was suffering moderate to severe back pain due to their daily activities such as farming etc. We have given do’s don’ts chart for improving or maintaining the general health of the back. All villagers was very happy and satisfied with this camp.


Football Championship : Physio Help

“Indore Futsal Championship”

The Indore Futsal Championship tournament was held on 30-01-2022 at 8th floor, Krishna Building near Medanta Hospital.

Index department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical sciences students voluntarily participated as “Physio Help” in the football championship match. Our physio team worked as Emergency Medical Responder whose primary goal was to handle the athlete in emergency type situations such as sports injury. Students were guided by our faculty Dr Saurabh. They have given best approaches to athletes as per their needs.
