Sahaja Yoga

Holistic development especially for students is the flint stone on which the vision and mission of the college is laid. Apart from academic and non academic activities we have also inculcate sessions of yoga and meditation for relieving of stress and betterment of the students.

To this effect, MP Paramedical council recommended to all medical colleges and paramedical Institutes to organized a “SAHAJA YOGA” session for students and faculties. Index Department of physiotherapy and paramedical sciences under the guidance of Dr. Reshma Khurana,Principal organized SHAJA YOGA and meditation sessions on 21st November 22 (Monday).

The session was conducted by Dr. Sunil Jaiswal, MD Pathologist and Sahaja Yoga team on the topic of "Sahaja Yoga : Experience Meditation". He also describes how opposite or contrary forces may actually be interconnected and interdependent in the natural world. He delivered an interesting and knowledgeable lecture on meditation.

Session was also demonstrated by them where they explain how to perform meditation, correct posture, and many things is to be considered while performing yoga.

The session was attended by students amongst who were male and female students. All enthusiastically participated & looked keen to learn and inculcate this practice to daily routine various taught by Dr Sunil Jaiswal. The session was successful one which displayed a great spirit of learning by staff members and students alike.

The session ended by a formal vote of thanks delivered by the Dr. Reshma Khurana, Principal Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences.
