Indian Constitution Day

“Constitution is not mere lawyer document, it is a vehicle of Life & its spirit is always the spirit of age”.

On the occasion of the constitution day Index Department of physiotherapy and paramedical sciences organised a seminar and oath taking ceremony on 26th November 2022, with the theme of “India : The Mother of Democracy”. Dr. Shivi Trivedi coordinated the program and delivered the speech on the Indian Constitution.

The programme was well organised under the guidance of the Dr. Reshma Khurana Principal, Index Department of Physiotherapy & Paramedical Sciences.




World AIDS Day Celebration, 2022

“Prevention is better than cure, Especially when something has no cure.”

On the occasion of the World AIDS Day 2022, the Index department of the physiotherapy & paramedical sciences conducted a seminar where BPT 4th yr students enlighten about the AIDS and BMLT 3rd yr Students explained about the challenges faced by the patients and precautions and different approaches should be taken while giving them any kind of treatment.

Dr. Reshma Khurana, Principal, Index Department of physiotherapy and paramedical Sciences brief about the significance of observing World AIDS DAY every year. She also explained worldwide statistics of HIV/AIDS, the mode of transmission, treatment availability, Medical facilities and assistance by the government. And she explained about paramedical issues in caring for the patients with HIV/AIDS and approaches to deal with patients.

All faculties and students were present. The program was quiet interesting for the students.




ALL INDIA IPSC Cricket (U-19) Tournament

12th December - 19th December, 2022

All India IPSC Cricket Boys U-19 tournaments was organised on 12th December 2022 to 17th December 2022, in which students of Index Department of Physiotherapy and paramedical sciences served as sports physiotherapist for 7 days tournaments

The Tournament started with an opening ceremony which was held at “The Emerald Heights International School”on 12th December 2022 All students had given on field treatment to players under the guidance of Dr. Reshma Khurana, Principal, Index Department of Physiotherapy and paramedical Sciences. Students treated and prepare athletes for their respective sports for better performance. They have seen many sports injuries such as ankle sprain, muscle soreness, tightness etc.

At the end of the tournament students of Index Department of physiotherapy & paramedical sciences honoured for their valuable efforts and certificate of appreciation given to the participants.
