Hands On Workshop (MET / MFR / Taping)

Myofascial Release and therapeutic taping is proven techniques for pain management and it is used in almost every field of the physiotherapy. To enhance our future physiotherapist skill under the Guidance of Dr. Reshma Khurana we have conducted two days hands on MET, MFR and Taping on 12th March 2022 to 13th March 2022 at Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical sciences, Malwanchal University. Dr Sanjeev Jha, was the resource person and in order to shared his knowledge and practical approaches of the techniques among the students. He demonstrated and shared detailing about the techniques (MET, MFR and Taping). Students also practiced the techniques. It was an interesting and interactive sessions for the students.




International Women’s Day (Self Defense Session)

Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences Organised Session of ‘SELF DEFENCE’ on 6th March 2021 as a part of celebration of International Women’s Day 2021!

A big big thankyou to Mr. Manoj Bajaj (All India Presidant jska) and Mr. Arvind Verma (Secretary Wado Karate Association, Madhya Pradesh) and his team for taking this session of self defence.

They wonderfully explained about the meaning of self defense in different contexts and taught various techniques and types of self defense in the beginning of the session.

As Self Defense is the need of the hour, it is necessary to protect ourselves from dangerous and unforeseen circumstances.

Later on, they continued by demonstrating various techniques to show it to the participants. it was a huge great learning for our own students.

The session ended successfully with a beautiful quote- “NO RULES WHEN IN DANGER”.




Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Survey

Mensuration is like misogyny and many women are not at all comfortable, feel shy and are ashamed to talk about it. For this serious concern to women health under the guidance of Dr. Reshma Khurana, Principal Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical sciences, conducted a campaign at Morodhaat Village on 21st Feb 2021 to spread awareness among rural women and girls on menstrual hygiene, adequate sanitation and use of sanitary use.

In this camp our students done a rallies on the slogan about the menstrual hygiene, the sanitary pad were distributed to the rural women.
