Having this thought as the base, On 19 September 2023, Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, Malwanchal University Indore marked Ganesh Chaturthi in the College Campus with great fervour and fidelity. The arrival of the Bappa was a beautiful beginning of the 10 days celebration full of prayers and positivity along with lots of fun.

The guest of honour for the programme was Dr.Sanjeev K Jha , President IAP, India and Dr DK Taneja renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr.ReshmaKhurana ,Principal,Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, was felicitated at the event.

Students of BPT IV year from the Index Department Of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences attended the shoulder synovium.

Towards the realisation of Honourable PM Shri NarendraModi’s vision of ‘One Earth, One Health’, On October 8th 2023, a health camp was organized at MaaKanakeshwari ground, Indore. Under this, not only the health horoscope of every member of everyhousehold coming to the assembly was prepared but their free treatment was also provided. Health camps have not been organized on such a large scale in the country yet.

Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, Malwanchal University gave physiotherapy services to the ailing and in the need. 500 patients were given consultation and physiotherapy treatment by the students and the faculty members of the IDOPT. Dr.ReshmaKhurana, Principal, IDOPT gave her consultation and treatment to the patients in need and explained them the importance and need of physiotherapy in the current scenarios.

Dr.ReshmaKhurana, Principal, IDOPT cheered up the serving students and faculty members by saying, “Pioneering spirit in the service of the humanity through physiotherapy should continue, not to conquer the planet or space but rather to improve the quality of life.” She also put light on the multidisciplinary approaches and told that in health services, every serving branch is equally important.
