Gandhi Jayanti Celebration

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated in India every year on 2nd October to proclaim the glory of Gandhiji who devoted his life to india to its glorious freedom by using his strong weapon “Nonviolence”. The day is also celebrated to pay tribute to Lal Bhadur Shashtri, second Prime Minister of India and a great Leader.

To revere this day, The Principal of Index department of Physiotherapy & paramedical sciences Dr. Reshma Khurana, paid homage by lighting the lamp in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s Portrait and in her speech she motivated the students to learn more about Gandhiji and inculcate his philosophy in day to day life.

The Student led choir sung Gandhi’s favourite bhajan ‘Vaishnav Janto’ with full exuberance.A special speech with Gandhian quotes and messages brought the gathering to understand more about this iconic leader. Gandhian ideals were depicted through a skit which the students presented in the most eloquent manner.All our Students were imbued with Gandhian values and thoughts and vowed to become berths citizens of India and this World.

At the end of the event, the non-participant also eagerly shared their views on Bapu. The programme ended on a positive note.

“Awareness without action is worthless”

Keeping on above thought Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences organized an event on the theme 'Covid-19 and Recovery Exercise' on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day on 8th September 2021. In which physiotherapy department students and faculties provide awareness about the people how to deal with this pandemic.

Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences College conducted a workshop on the theme 'Covid-19 and Recovery Exercise' at Clean City Food Hub 56 shop.

Chief guest of this workshop was Dr. SanjeevJha was (President - Indian Association of Physiotherapist).

This programme was organised& guided by Dr. ReshmaKhurana, Principal Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences.

Thankyou to Suresh Singh Bhadoria, Chairman of Index Group for providing us this platform.

Heartfelt thankyou to Mr. Gunjan Sharma, President 56 Shop Vendors Association, for giving us this opportunity.

World Physiotherapy Day Celebration (Exercise Demonstration & Nukkad Natak)

On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day students of Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences performed Nukkadnatak and an Exercise demonstration (Covid 19 Recovery and Exercises) on the theme ‘Long Covid and Rehabilitation’ at the Press Club Indore.

The Programme was OrganisedAnd Session taken By Dr.ReshmaKhuranaPrincipal Index Department of Physiotherapy And Paramedical Sciences. She delivered speech on the importance of physiotherapy treatment for Covidpaients.

Dr. Pranita Sharma Dr. Shivi Trivedi,Dr. PayalJain,Dr. Vaishali Patel, Dr. Vidhitiwari, All the faculties of Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences were present.

Nukkad natak was performed by BPT (1st year to Interns) with so much enthusiasm providing information on Post covid complications and Physiotherapy Protocol to deal with such problems. Exercise Demonstration provided Physiotherapy Interventions including Deep Breathing Exercises.
