On 2nd April 2022 ( SATURDAY) FREE PRESS Honoured ‘Women of Substance’ With *AHILYA AWARD* Women of Substance felicitated with Ahilya Awards in association with Index Medical College in a ceremony on the first day of Chaitra Navratri at Free Campus.

16 Women of Substance from various fields were felicitated with this prestigious award for their contributions to building a better society, celebrating women power.

Dr. Reshma Khurana, Principal Index Department of physiotherapy and paramedical sciences on received ‘AHILYA AWARD’ and for this Incredible and well deserved Achievement.


Farewell Celebration BMLT 2018-2019

“To bid goodbye is always painful but when it is for the betterment for those whom we are bidding goodbye in this farewell is full of hopes and best wishes.”

In an emotionally surcharged environment inside the Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, the Students, staff and management of the department bid adieu to the students of BMLT 2018-2019 batch at farewell function.

The program commenced with address by the Principal, Dr. Reshma Khurana, where she spoke encouraging words of wisdom for students.

After that a video played by the college made everyone mushy. It reminded them of their beautiful yesteryears memories and how they grown up in this 4yrs.

Thereafter some students also share experiences & memories with faculty, seniors and colleagues.


2 Days Hands On Workshop on Cupping Therapy: Functional & Rehab Cupping

“Continuous learning is the minimum requirement for success in any Field”

Two days hands on workshop were organized by Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, Malwanchal University, Indore on 29th March 2022 to 30th March 2022. The workshop started with lighting lamp, by Dr. Reshma Khurana, Principal, Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Science, Dr Chirag Verma (Resource Person) and all the faculties of college. Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative therapy that involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. This Suction is thought to improve the flow of energy in the body and facilitate healing.

Dr Chirag Verma demonstrated basic concept essential for learning the cupping therapy techniques with emphasis on its application. He demonstrated various approaches of cupping (Static & Dynamic) techniques and cupping techniques not only demonstrated but sets of practice and cups were also provided.

The main purpose of this workshop is to enlighten students about the latest techniques and to enhance their clinical skills.

The workshop was advertised on newspaper and the social media FB page, Instagram & You tube.
