The arena of Mount Index International School was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere as it proudly hosts the Basketball Cluster XII for Boys U-19 Tournament under the aegis of CBSE from 27th Oct, 2023, the most awaited 3 days’ tournament for the players.
Under the guidance of Dr.ReshmaKhurana, Principal, students of BPT 4th, 3rd , 2nd and 1st year from the Index Department Of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences attended the basketball cluster for Physio help . Students given the treatment to the players who were injured during their matches and cure the injuries due to the sports.
On 31 October 2023 Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical sciences , Malwanchal University, Indore has organised a 2 days workshop on "Basics to advance MAT pilates " by international pilates instructor Miss ElanieTan (Principal Pilates instructor at Malaysia).
The session has been started with the lamp lightings and Saraswati poojan by Mr.Suresh Singh Bhadoriya, Chairperson Index group of institutions, Dr.ReshmaKhurana, Principal Index Department Of Physiotherapy And Paramedical Science, Dr.G S Patel Dean Index Medical College and Miss Elanie tan Principal Pilates instructor (Malaysia), Resource person for the workshop along with all the faculties members of IDOPT.
Floral welcome has been presented to Miss Elanie tan by Dr.Reshma Khurana, Principal Index Department of Physiotherapy and Paramedical Sciences, Malwanchal University, Indore.
At the end of the 2 days of Pilates Workshop successfully achieved its objectives of introducing participants to Pilates principles, providing practical training, and emphasizing the benefits of this holistic exercise method. The expertise of Ms. Elaine Tan and the engaging format of the workshop contributed to its overall success. Students left the workshop with newfound knowledge and skills to enhance their physical well-being through Pilates.

It was a resounding success, achieving its objectives of facilitating knowledge exchange, fostering collaboration, and showcasing the latest advancements in physiotherapy. Malwanchal University, Indore being its one of the academic partners played a major role on its success.
The World Physiotherapy Congress organized 5th Internation Physiotherapy Conference held on 4th- 5th November 2023 at JanardhanRai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (deemed to-be University), Udaipur, Rajasthan was a highly insightful and collaborative event where Malawanchal University was the academic partner, bringing together professionals, researchers, and enthusiasts in the field of physiotherapy. The conference featured prominent keynote National &international Speakers , who shared their expertise and contributed to a vibrant exchange of knowledge.
Dr.ReshmaKhurana, Principal, Index Department of Physiotherapy had awarded as Academic excellence.In addition to gaining the knowledge Students of Index department & Physiotherapy has participated in various activities such as Scientific paper presentation, Poster Presentation, Cultural activities and also hold positions in all categories. It was a very informative and knowledgeable conference for the students.
